What does a dialogue taste like? Maybe like oolong, wild peppermint, or cherry leaves steeped in water. At the Tea Dialogues at ZAZ Bellerive, Zurich-based tea project somt invites you to experience tea in a new way — inspired by East Asia’s loose-leaf traditions, but without the pressure of perfection. It’s about connection, not ceremony.
In a relaxed setting, a wide variety of teas are poured, cold-infused, mixed, and reimagined — including alpine herbal teas and extracts from local plants. In tune with the exhibition Two Lakes – Lake Lucerne and Lake Biwa, the element of water becomes tangible in the glass: sometimes warm, sometimes chilled, occasionally paired with a sensorial surprise on the side.
If you’d like to take a piece of this tea culture home, a small selection of somt teas will be available for purchase.
